Today will be a day of forecasts on SoS. We start with Steve giving us his predictions on where some of the top NHL free agents will land. For those of you keeping score, if Steve doesn't get 80% correct, he will gladly pay you $5.

Well the time is here.  Midnight has stuck and the hottest free agent class in maybe the history of the NBA is ready to start being wined and dined.  LeBron James, D-Wade and Chris Bosh are the headliners, but there are plenty of All-Star caliber players to go around.  Without further ado, here's what my crystal ball is revealing ….

Happy Fourth of July. A yearly reminder of how truly lucky we are to live in the greatest country in the world. And while hopefully you all spend your days outside, at the beach or by the pool, enjoying barbeque, and playing lawn games; let us never forget the men and women protecting our Freedom at home and abroad. One of the many great freedoms that we observe, as a country, is sports. Let us look back at a few, of the many, of the highlights in American sports since last Independence Day. Bring on the fireworks!

First let's just start with the facts.  Free agency is over and LeBron James and Chris Bosh have chosen to join D-Wade in Miami.  And then there's everyone else.  We all knew that Bosh was going to join one of these guys so let's not even waste time talking about him.  The story, like everyone wanted, is James.  Now, I'm not surprised that LeBron made a cowardly choice, because if you've ever read any of my articles you know that I've been telling you for the last 6 years that he is a coward - in life and on the court.  I was surprised, though, to see that he chose the route that would make him someone else's lackey.
