Topher City Gopher's Money Makers: Week 7

Last Week: (2-2)

Overall: (7-13)

All things considered going .500 is not all that bad. Entering into Week 7 we are shooting to improve on the overall record. We can look at Week 6 as a building block, looking to get back to the Week 4 form. As always a few points on last week before Topher City Gopher Money Makers Week 7...

1.) Really felt good about RG3 and the Bears going into the 4th quarter down a couple points. Then A&M QB Ryan Tannehill played as though he were the Heisman candidate and A&M rolled...

2.) Weeden was not as sharp as he has been all season but the rest of the Cowboys stepped it up to keep the Longhorns in check...

3.) If it was not for "Handshake-Gate" TCGMM could have claimed predicting the Lions- 49ers game perfectly...

4.) Watching McNabb play is brutal, your move Ponder ...

Picks

1.) Washington U (+21) @ Stanford...Andrew Luck and the Cardinal are very good...Washington is under the radar. Look for Washington to run a clock-control scheme to keep Luck on the sidelines. Take the points...

2.) Oklahoma State (-7) @ Missouri...The Cowboys made their highest BCS rank debut this week at #4. Weeden bounces back from a pedestrian, yet effective, performance at Texas. Sticking with the hot hands...

3.) Atlanta (+3.5) @ Detroit...It will be interesting to see how Detroit responds after losing last week. The NFC South is as competitive a division as there is in football right now; look for Matt Ryan to have to high-powered Falcon offense clicking...

4.) Carolina (-2.5) vs. Washington...Tough divisional losses to the Saints and Falcons have the Panthers reeling. John Beck plus a little home cooking could be just the ticket for Cam and crew...
